Will the Urban's runtime last for an entire ride?

All Urbans can remain in High mode for 1.5 hours. If you are looking for more lumens over time, it would be suggested to purchase a brighter model.

What is Race Mode, and how does it improve my riding experience?

Race Mode is better explained as a one touch toggle feature; enabling riders to conveniently toggle between high and medium output to conveniently conserve battery as riding conditions change. Typically you need more light when moving at higher speeds, and less when climbing or traveling at a slower pace.

Why won't my light turn on?  The power button just blinks red.

Your light is in travel lock out mode.  Light & Motion incorporates this feature into all of our lights for storage and travel because there is nothing more frustrating than to pull your "charged" light out of the drawer or bag only to find it discharged.

To unlock, press and hold the power button & the mode button simultaneously for about 4 seconds. The indicator light will blink green 3 times.

To lock, when the light is on, press and hold the power button (clear) & the mode button (black) simultaneously for about 4 seconds. The indicator light will blink red 3 times.  Now it is safe to store your light.

Did your Design team bother to test it before marketing

Design team bother to test it before marketing yeah my battery didn’t last long either I’d rather use one of them one light that you tilt the thing that rubs against the tire to convert your tire revolutions into energy with a bulb light at least I know I won’t be in the dark with that you guys charge a lot for this light but you guys didn’t put no expense into the damn battery would you guys take defective batteries and put them in there to save money you guys are turning into real crooks

Light barely lasts an hour on low beam

I bought the light last year because I loved the design. However, because of Covid I didn't do my usual commute to the office. I finally used the light for the first time two weeks ago and I am disappointed. My commute is about an hour on city streets and SOMETIMES the light doesn't even last that long and that is on low beam. I have to charge it after every use because if I don't charge after my morning commute it won't even last a mile on my way home. In the dark of winter on city streets NOT a good idea.

Decreased brightness over time

I really like the combination of these lights (handlebar and seatpost mounts), but after two years the lumen intensity in high mode of the Urban 100 has decreased significantly. After approximately 20 minutes the light dims from high to medium. I've tried draining the battery to zero and recharging completely without any improvement. My commute is 30-35 minutes on a combination of country roads and interurban trails where it can be quite dark. Thankfully I have a Vis 360 (helmet mount) and 180 (pannier mount) to round out my set-up so that I'm not in the dark
