An ideal front and rear combo kit for the daily rider that values performance, reliability, and convenience. The Vis is a classic style headlight, with a button that gives the user 4 different modes to choose from. The versatile Vya Switch taillight features the same charging technology as the rest of the Vya family, but with buttons - now you have control: turn it on/off, steady beam for group rides, or our SafePulse beam. High visibility is paramount and dedicated amber sidelights front and rear are distinct and easily recognizable by drivers, especially through intersections. Reliable construction is unmatched in the market and exceeds the needs of daily riders as both lights are certified to withstand 1 meter drops on concrete and are fully waterproof to ensure longterm reliability. Recharging is fast and efficient through Micro USB (Vis) or through direct USB (Vya). Blending the best-selling Vis 500 headlight with the state-of-the-art Vya, daily riders now have the perfect setup to stay safe and visible.

FAQ

Is 500 lumens bright enough to see and be seen?

500 lumens is a standard lumen output to not only be seen by other road users; it provides significant light to observe the road in front of you with clarity. Brighter lights offer more field-of-view.

Will the Vis's runtime last for an entire ride?

All Vis can remain in High mode for 1.5 hours. If you are looking for more lumens over time, it would be suggested to purchase a brighter model. For Example: An Vis 1000 can maintain 500 lumens in its Medium setting for 3 hours!

Nice little light

I just installed the light yesterday. The instructions are illustrations rather than in text but they got the job done. The light charged up quickly. The bracket was easy to strap on the bike and I think it will hold the light firmly in place. You need to remove a thumb screw to quickly detach the light from the bracket. The light seems to work very well once I figured out how to "unlock" the settings. I believe you need to depress the button longer than the 4 seconds as shown in the instructions. The light seems to give adequate illumination and should also be an adequate warning to drivers. And I like the color!

I love this light!

Have used for about 6 months. Super durable and bright light. Just wish it had more flashing options. However, still the best light I have bought!

Very bright lights, some features are too complicated

I bought the Vis 500 commuter combo (and the Red Racer). This is the second time I've bought light & motion lights for my bike. They are very bright and durable, and I feel very comfortable biking at night. I like that the pulsing mode is not a strobe, as I've had too look into too many oncoming strobe bike lights and it is not pleasant.
The Vya bike tail light is maybe too advanced... It fits well on my bike and is also bright, but not the most intuitive thing to use since it is so different from normal bike lights. I also do not think the pulsing mode on it is as eye friendly as the Vis because it does have a short strobe flash. The battery remaining indicators are also well-intentioned but difficult to interpret with different lights coming on/off with different amounts of power remaining.
Overall these are very good, very bright lights, but some of their special features are more advanced than I would prefer.
