I purchased my Sola 1200 based on recommendation from my local dive shop, just before COVID. The light was extremely bright, had excellent battery life, and I liked the hand mount. It was a fantastic light for night dives. I WAS very happy with the purchase. However, I took the light on only one dive trip before it failed. In 2022, I took it on a second trip and the light flooded on my first dive. Further, with the salt water leak, the lighted heated up point were we were concerned it would explode on the boat. Sola offered no repair or replacement options as it was past the warranty period. The best they would do is 30% discount off the retail price on a replacement. I expected such an expensive light to last for years. I am extremely disappointed that for $300, I only got two dive trips out of the light.
