FAQ

Can the GoBe be used as a handheld flashlight?

The GoBe was designed with limitless uses in mind. It can be a light you walk your dogs with, take on camping trips, or a great primary/secondary light for all of your diving adventures!

What other uses and mounts are available for GoBe?

Available accessory mounts allow GoBe to attach to any standard ball mount system, Loc-Line system, and YS mount fitting for underwater camera systems as well as a bicycle handlebar or helmet.

Is the a better primary or secondary dive light?

That depends on a diver's needs. GoBe is an excellent recommendation for divers that want a high-quality and dependable dive light and the compact size easily tucks into a BCD during day dives. There are equal numbers of divers that use GoBe as a primary as they do as a secondary light. From a helmet mounted cave diving primary to a backup for a wreck dive, GoBe's versatility is unmatched.

Multi year review

I've had a gone with a couple of heads for a number of years now. work well, reliable - and adaptable with the bar mount between biking, kayaking, camping (lasts ages on ultra low power mode and can strap to a tent pole), and snorkelling.
I had the plastic head break recently after dropping it, and when I enquired about spare parts, they sent me a new one all the way to Australia free of charge, no questions asked. Great support!

Excellent All-Purpose Light!

Originally purchased for my wife for an upcoming night dive in Hawaii, I hijacked the L&M’s GOBE 800 Spot for an evening excursion to navigate the beaches while witnessing the bluish dinoflagellates that has gathered off the coast of Southern California. The capabilities of this little hand-held light left me very impressed and left me wondering why I didn’t get one for myself as a back-up to my wrist-mounted SOLA 2500.

I will admit I was a little befuddled in trying to access the auxiliary modes (very low output and SOS), so I placed a quick call to L&M’s customer service and spoke to Shannon (sp?), who talked me through the process, and whom I found extremely friendly and helpful!

Thus, this light gets double five-stars for both functionality and customer support!

Awesome light! Great set

I bought both lights and have been very pleased with them. I so appreciate the recharge capabilities avoiding to replace with batteries. The GOBE S500 spot is good for several dives before needing to charge. Will be good for 1 to 2 night dives. The Sola Dive will last a night dive as I use it at max light. I use it during day/night to light up objects/critters for shots taking with Go Pro.

One light, multiple uses

I cycle and dive, but never at the same time, so why not use one for both. The Gobe charges quickly, and with the hand mount and bar mount, it's easy to swap between the bicycle and my dive rig.
