Linda Rukavina's photographic journey began at the age of 5 when she was handed a polaroid camera. Seeing the magic of the image she captured come to life hooked her and there was no turning back.

She majored in Fine Art and focused her studies on the classic works of Michelangelo, DaVinci, and Raphael. She uses what she learned while studying these masters of the Renaissance in order to capture the beauty of every day people with her camera. Whether they be punks, ballerinas, brides, or seniors, she utilizes her ability to connect with people to help their personalities shine through in her imagery.

She often uses her style of photography to capture edgy themes in her work to bring to light social issues and causes plaguing the world today. She believes that photographers are the scribes of this generation and takes every opportunity to bring these issues to light.

She is a Champion of Light with StellaPro Lights, an Associate of WPPI, an associate of PWS and a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) with Professional Photographers of America.
