Every image tells a story, and every artist has one to tell. Equipped with a love for the arts and a passion for cinema, Rich Johnson's influences are clearly expressed in every click of the shutter. His unwavering dedication to his craft is evident in his award winning work. He is the co-founder of Spectacle Photo, and his company has gone on to work with many high profile clients and has had many of their projects featured across all media platforms. In 2013 he won the Outstanding Photographer RAW award, and in 2014 he and the creative team at Joseph Gordon Levitt’s HitRECord won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Media. He then went on to spearhead an anti-bullying awareness campaign called Weapon of Choice that went viral across network television and utilized by over 180 non-profits worldwide. His powerful photographs and videos from that campaign caught the attention of the UNAIDS organization, which led to him being a speaker at the US Senate in 2014. 

Rich has also personally created advertising campaigns and marketing assets for many recognizable companies like Sony, Jawbone, Panasonic, TED Talks, Discovery Channel, and more. His photos have been published and recognized by countless photography websites and print outlets like Inked Magazine, Fstoppers, Adobe, Nikon, Peta Pixel, and many photography industry magazines. In 2016 he was tasked by Evok, an Orlando based advertising agency, to head up a complete graphical re-brand of the nationwide food chain Pita Pit, and he also became a lead contract photographer for Jay Z’s Roc Nation. Through Roc Nation he has photographed promotional material for many bands like Flogging Molly, The Offspring, Rancid, NOFX, and Skinny Lister. Rich is also a co-founder of the multi-million dollar Cannonball Kids’ cancer (CKc) Foundation, which is a non-profit dedicated to fighting childhood cancer through funding research. In 2017 Rich launched his “No More Options” awareness campaign for Ckc, which hit national headlines in news outlets like CBC, and were featured on billboards all over Orlando and times square. In 2017 Rich was selected to photograph the promotional materials for Vanity Fair Confidential, a network crime show that’s produced by The Discovery Channel, and he was a panel judge at Full Sail’s Adobe Creative Jam. In 2018 Rich photographed celebrities Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Alex Morgan, Doug Flutie, CJ Hobgood, Danny Way, Vicky Hurst, Phillip Phillips, Tony Pressley, and more. In 2019 his ad campaign Fashion for Life went national on multiple networks including CNN, Al Jazeera, and NBC. He's also became a photographer for 321 Creative, an Orlando based advertising agency, and through them has created national ads for known companies like Flippers and Health First. He also has many other high-profile projects slated to come out in the near future.
