Mauricio Handler is a professional Natural History Cinematographer / Producer who was, for many years part of the premier underwater photography team at National Geographic Magazine.
Through his production company, Aquaterrafilms, he creates and produces blue chip original content for production companies around the globe including BBC NHU, BBC Science, National Geographic Television, ESPN, Chile TV, ZDF/ Arte, CBS Discovery, Disney and WWF to mention just a few.
He has produced various films and shorts including his original documentary series “World of Oceans” and “Ocean Secrets” which are shown on various International networks.
Mauricio has been a Light & Motion Ambassador for the past 10 years, using and testing the dive lights in all conditions to illuminate his professional work.
He lives in Maine, USA with his wife and business partner Julia and their two English Springers, Chester and Tristan.
