Timothy Wolfer is a journalist and filmmaker. For over a decade he has been working on stories of humanitarian aid and migration. His work has taken him to 40+ countries; places like South Sudan to tell stories of the conflict, Bangladesh to cover stories of the Rohingya fleeing Myanmar, Cuba as the country first opened to U.S. humanitarian assistance, and Haiti days after the 2010 earthquake. His latest film The Right Girls follows a group of transgender women headed to the U.S. Border with the 2018 Large Migrant Caravan. This film was distributed on Amazon, iTunes and Google Play. He has also produced numerous, short docs for PBS stations, winning him a regional Emmy.
