Seca Comp 2000 has distinguished itself as an unrivaled cross-over light, with a perfect combination of high-power in a compact, battery integrated design. By utilizing two battery cells, Seca Comp 2000 is one of the few cycling lights on the market able to achieve powerful output without quickly fading. Custom-engineered optics do not waste light and is specifically engineered to provide cyclists a wide beam ideal for handlebar illumination. A penetrating LED array gives a powerful spot beam in conjunction with a diffused flood beam ideal for both road and trail use to provide exceptional range of vision for serious rides. Amber sidelights and a daytime pulse mode ensure road visibility but a secondary button allows the side lighting to be turned off when on the trail.

  • 2000 Lumen Output certified to the FL-1 Standard with high powered CREE LED array
  • Custom engineered reflector/optics provide wide reaching beam pattern close up with a powerful penetrating spot beam further out
  • Advanced electronics regulates power to keep lumen output from rapidly fading to ensure you have powerful illumination during the entire ride
  • One-touch 'Race Mode' enables riders to conveniently toggle between high and medium output to focus on the trail ahead
  • Accurate battery status indication illuminates the power button with three different colors to clearly display remaining runtime with 4 levels
  • Innovative amber side lighting increases overall visibility on the road and can be turned off for trail riding
  • Mount to a handlebar with a simple but thoughtfully designed strap that cinches light to bar to prevent movement in bumpy terrain
  • Waterproof design provides all-weather reliability and long-term assurance Seca Comp 2000 will hold up to all riding conditions

FAQ

Why won't my light turn on?  The power button just blinks red.

Your light is in travel lock out mode.  Light & Motion incorporates this feature into all of our lights for storage and travel because there is nothing more frustrating than to pull your "charged" light out of the drawer or bag only to find it discharged.

To unlock, press and hold the power button & the mode button simultaneously for about 4 seconds. The indicator light will blink green 3 times.

To lock, when the light is on, press and hold the power button (clear) & the mode button (black) simultaneously for about 4 seconds. The indicator light will blink red 3 times.  Now it is safe to store your light.

Not suitable for rough off road riding.

Had this light for about a year. The mounting system really never worked well riding off road on my gravel bike. The center of mass of the light is forward of the mount so any sharp hit will rotate the light forward. The strap must be very tight and I also had to put some friction tape on my carbon bar to get it to hold. Still required repositioning mid ride, usually on a downhill. Eventually the light popped off the mount. There didn’t appear to be any threadlock on the screw holding the mount to the light. The threads were damaged when this happened and in my clumsy attempt to make the light useful by using a few mm longer bolt , I damaged the light further.

The light works great and would be just fine on a road bike and maybe even a modern trail bike.

Because of my admittedly botched attempt to get the light working, warranty coverage was denied, although they offered to repair it for $10 less than what a new one is currently selling for.

Overall, the mount is unsuitable for the type of riding I do. The functionality of the light was great , however the quality of the initial assembly and subsequent customer service was underwhelming.

Great Light

I have had this light so far for over 1 year and a half and it has worked very well every day. I feel safe riding home every night with this light.

Great light and great service

I use this light for trail riding on technical uphill and downhill trails. Definitely the best light I've used. The light is mounted well and does not move around. It's also very bright and provides excellent visibility with what appears to be a mix of a spot and floodlight pattern. The battery life seems reasonable, but I generally only run it for an hour or so as I only use it for about half my ride time.

Personally, I do recommend a helmet-mounted light in addition to a handlebar light so that you can see around tight corners and the like. I have the VIS 360 PRO as well.

Excellent Light

I've only used this light on one road ride so far but I am very pleased. I mostly used it at the 1000 lumen level which was bright enough to see any issues ahead while riding between 15-20 mph. The ride was about 1.5hr and I had no issues with battery life. The light seems well made and I have no reason to believe it won't provide long service life.

One thing to note is that the light does come with a GoPro mount. No where is that mentioned on the website so I bought one when I bought the light and so now I have two. Two is one I guess, in case one breaks.

Second light

This is my 2nd L&M light. The first being a Taz 2000. This is the same light. It’s great for full speed trail rides.
