Commuter Must!

This is a replacement for my old 360 Vis. Riding at night in Seattle it is a must to have a light that is helmet mounted. Commuting by bicycle is very dangerous yet incredibly freeing and good to clear one’s head.
Having the ability to focus the beam on a driver that is not looking for cyclists gives me confidence that they will not turn in front of me when I have the right of way.
As this is a replacement for my older Vis 360 I am very happy with the crispness of the light and it’s construction. I do however think the cover for the charging port is going to be its failure. It’s hard plastic unlike the rubber gasket from previous model. Somewhat of a challenge to get it to seal without popping loose.
The customer service at L&M is top notch and I thank Brian for his help.
Ride on!

VIS 360 Pro Plus Review

I bought two VIS 360 Light & Motion head/tail lamps perhaps 20 years ago, still working fine. Transferred them to spare helmets I have when I bought new ones. The new models are more substantial and the wiring in particular is much improved. I fully expect long and satisfying use from the new ones. The headbands are a nice addition too in case of night kayaking.

Excellent quality bright light!

This is a very quality, powerful light for nighttime adventures. I have only used it for skiing at night and on a hut trip, but am impressed. Do be cautioned that the bulb and area around the bulb gets very hot to the touch very quickly. Seems to be an all around great product.

Good light that needs a few tweaks.

I've used this light for about a month, both mounted on my mountain biking helmet, and with the provided head strap. I'm very pleased with the 600 lumen output, and the fact that the light appears to have a very extended battery life. The light works well mounted to my Giro helmet with the provided hardware. However, my biggest disappointment is with the way it fits on my head with the strap. The coiled wire that runs between the rear light and the front spotlight is too short! Consequently, the whole assembly wants to ride up off the top of my head, unless I strap it around my head so hard that I practically get a headache. Why couldn't they make this wire an inch or two longer?

I'm also concerned about the durability and weather-ability of the charging port. I'm not sure that the plug would keep moisture out, especially given that it tends to pop out with motion and use. Once this plug is off thie port the internal guts don't look particularly durable.

In summary, this light is a good concept that needs a few tweaks to be an excellent product.
